Thank you for visiting my Saatchi Art website, and I hope you enjoy my works! I'm Misako Chida, a Japanese artist born in 1972 in Yokohama, Japan. I started painting on my own at the age of 30. Since 1999, I have been living in Dalian, China, where I have been happily painting and exhibiting my works. Over the years, my artistic subjects have been diverse, encompassing landscapes, women, religious figures, flowers, and more. Currently, my passion lies in working with modern abstract art. For me, art isn't the final destination; rather, it's a wonderful tool that allows me to fully express my thoughts and emotions, and to create works that can evoke positive emotions, remind viewers of their sweet memories, or simply transport them to a world of joyful imagination. By sharing my works, I wish to contribute to society by filling people's hearts with happiness and joy. My favorite time of the day is when I'm facing the canvas, freely playing with colors. It's a process of continuous experimentation, where I pour my imagination onto the canvas. It is a joy to see the fruitful outcome of my experiments at the end. It's my devotion to keep presenting new artworks that bring joy and pleasure to viewers. My art is included in private and corporate collections worldwide.
