Carolina Maggio

Maggio discovered her vision during her first travel in the Amazonian Jungle in 2008. She has since then travelled extensively throughout the world and uses many of her experiences to create her work.


In the 2005 she left Milan for London where her work was well received.
In 2008, travelling on to Mexico, she worked as a muralist in San Cristobal and exhibited and sold her work around the country. Since then, muralism became one of her most important form of expression.

She then spent one year exploring the reality of Central and South America’s native tribes, living and working within the indigenous community that initiated her to the mysteries of their mystical traditions. This had a great impact on Maggio’s life and signified a major inspiration for her art.


Maggio moves to New York in 2010 where she produces and exhibited some of her most notorious pieces, inspired by her experiece in the jungle.


Once back in UK Maggio founds the Imaginary Beings art collective and takes it to Italy, Portugal, Germany, Spain, and to major museums of Buenos Aires.


At this very moment Maggio is working within the Imaginary Beings , which travel around the world to connect, create and inspire.
