Mykola Yakymechko

Born May 9, 1963 in Ivano-Frankivivsk, where he currently lives and works. Graduated from Lviv National Academy of Arts in 1986.
Works in the field of Easel and Monumental painting and the graphics.
Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1993.
Assistant Professor of Fine and Decorative Arts and Restoration of the Institute of Arts of the Precarpathian National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk, teaches art disciplines.
From 2013 to 2018 - headed the regional organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
In 2016, by a decree of the President of Ukraine, he was awarded with the honorary title «Honored Artist of Ukraine».
The artworks are stored in the state museums and private collections of Ukraine and the world.
