RECOGNITION
I am an award-winning multi-media artist. I’ve been working in ceramics since 2003 and have been painting and photographing for more than 30 years.
Each sculpture I create is nature-themed, specifically recalling the sea and florals. I hand-form both wall and tabletop sculptures.
Inspiration comes from the local landscape, where beaches, rocky shorelines, and beautiful gardens are all nearby.
I love to work with porcelain because it is a sensuous, challenging material that also allows me to create works that are wafer thin and organic.
When I paint, I am always working to bring deep, rich colors and shapes together in the most pleasing ways. You will see pure abstract and abstract forms that are whimsical and free of any confinement to rules.
Architectural Digest has described my porcelain work as the "epitome of nature-inspired elegance", and that is something I work to achieve in my studio each day.
I have porcelain installations in many public venues across the United States in luxury residence lobbies including 77 Greenwich, NYC) as well as iconic, luxury hotels like Chicago's London House Hotel and more recently at the newly "reimagined" Boca Raton Hotel. A complete commissions list is on my website.
