Jisun Lee

JiSun LEE is a multimedia artist, born in 1989 in Seoul, South Korea.
Arriving in France in 2008, she studied art (2008-2013) at ENSA Dijon (National School of Art and Design in Dijon) and obtained the DNSEP (Higher National Diploma in Plastic Expression, equivalent to Master II) with jury honors. By settling in Paris in 2013, she began her artistic activities touching on multiple media/mediums in her creative scope.
Video and drawing are the main practices of the artist, whose drawing develops into objects/installations, and video envelops her various creations such as photography, animation, music and text. Time, memory, anonymity, i, fragment, point-line-plane, oblivion, home, and shadow place mainly in her glossary of conception. Today, she is presented through through exhibitions, film and video festivals, art fairs, video-concerts between France and Korea, as well as in other countries of Europe and America.
