EPHEMERA

This series of paintings creates a retro-contemporary atmosphere, a feeling of beautiful nostalgia, of joy and melancholy at the same time - like that "Mono No Aware" from Japanese culture that I wrote about in the painting of the same name. I captured the same feeling in this new series… The collection includes four mixed media paintings, worked in a combination of oil and vintage, familiar objects, upcycled in a creative way, where the general atmosphere is of nostalgia, the ephemerality is almost tangible, but but at the same time, playful feelings of hope, rebirth, freedom and gratitude flourish...
