Ebru Ert

(b. 1985) Turkish, 📍 Istanbul.

She was born and grew up in Istanbul ,Turkiye. She received her (BA) Bachelor’s degree from the Istanbul Bilgi University in ‘’Management of Performing Arts’’at the Faculty of Communication in 2010.
Then she started ‘Fashion Design’ Programme and earned her 3-Year diploma from the ‘College LaSalle International’ in 2013.
Her artistic path has been always connected to art. After the graduation, she worked in some brands as a fashion designer and an instructor (technical drawing educator; Adobe Illustrator&Photoshop) of ‘Fashion Design’ diploma programme at Vakko / Esmod Istanbul.

As a fashion and graphic designer she only mastered technical drawing techniques on the computer. A few years ago she stepped into the world of painting as a hobby. She participated in group exhibitions while trying to learn and develop her realistic drawing & painting techniques.She is drawn to the realism movement by the process of translating what is seen onto the canvas - each step, each mark gradually capturing the essence of reality.
She presents her works at group exhibitions and continues to experimenting with different techniques and styles to express herself through art.
