Kevin Barré

I got my first camera, a Kodak Instamatic 124 when I was 12 years old and have been taking pictures ever since. I studied art and design at the University of New Orleans. My career was in the aerospace industry photographing and writing about the Space Shuttle Program and exploratory missions. Now retired, I am dedication my energies to photography full time.

My photographic inspirations include Emmet Gowin, Clarence John Laughlin, Diane Arbus and many more.

Most recently exhibited, "The Forgotten Faces of Cuba" at the University of Denver's Josef Korbel School of International Studies and at the James H. Larue Public Library in Denver, CO.
