James Uyng

I am a South Korean artist who explores the fluid boundaries between sculpture and painting.

With a profound academic background and over 15 years of experience as a university lecturer, my work reflects a deep mastery of form and materiality. My career is built on a foundation of 7 solo exhibitions, over 200 group exhibitions, and 6 participations in international art fairs and sculpture symposia, all of which demonstrate a lifelong dedication to artistic exploration.

Currently, I focus on creating high-end sculptural pieces and expressive paintings that bridge the gap between fine art and contemporary aesthetics.

My goal is to redefine traditional icons through artisanal craftsmanship and modern artistic vision, bringing a new dimension of luxury and art to global collectors.
