Torsten Weinberg

born 1957 in karlsruhe, w-germany

As a 'Self Taught', I'm working seriously in the art fields since 1990 additionally to my former major occupation as an owner of a cocktailbar and gallery in my hometown Karlsruhe in Germany.

This way I could present my artwork 14 years (only abstract paintings done in oil- and watercolor) with great interest and success in my own gallery.

In 2004 I stopped working in gastronomy and since this time, with my artists name 'towe.', I'm developping my art-ideas in the way you'll get the best impression by looking at my >>>search: towe. (my new own website this time is under construction).



Beside my acrylic- and oilpaintings in 2004 I discovered the digital media for me. Today nearly 80% of my works are dealing with the digital expression. My digital artwork mostly belongs to the definition of the pure abstract world. Only the spectator's view and fantasy could finish my piece of art. My paintings since 2004 normaly show a socialcritical background without being fixed in a repeating, same style or technic.
