Laura Grosso was born in Bari in 1955 and works in Rome, where she has resided since 1968. She was formed in the course of painting by Alberto Ziveri at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, and graduating in 1978. In 1982 she qualified as a teacher of arts in public schools. Since 2010 she opened her own studio painting to a group of apprentices painters. In 2013 she started the group "United Painters for Painting". Many of her paintings are in private and public collections. Main exhibits: Rome, gallery Andre 1998 to 2009. Chicago, Eastwick Art Gallery. Berlin, Gallery One. Venice, Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa. Florence, Fortezza da Basso. China, Hanghzou. Palestine, Beith Jala.
