Christina L Saarinen

Helsinki-born Christina L. Saarinen has an art studio in Helsinki, Finland, previously in Jumeirah, Dubai. She has exhibited her work at solo and group exhibitions in the United Arab Emirates.

"My painting expresses my longing for uninhibited self-expression. The intuitive process from the mind to no-mind is a form of active meditation."

Christina's intuitive painting method uses music to reconnect with the first creative impulse by connecting the subconscious mind.

Medium: acrylics and Indian color inks on handmade recycled cotton rag paper.

Art Education

2010 - 2017 visual art studies in Pune, India, in collaboration with Meera, Kasue Hashimoto (1947 - 2017), a visual artist and author from Japan.

She started with watercolor, painting, and drawing a live model at a young age.
