RECOGNITION

After relocating from London to the Chiltern Hills in 2022, I established a new studio nestled within the landscape that now informs and supports my creative practice. Although firmly based in the UK, my work has found its way into private and public collections worldwide and has developed a particularly strong following in the United States.
My artistic interests have long been shaped by the hard-edge paintings of 1960s California and the industrial steel sculpture of David Smith. I am drawn to the engineering language embedded in methods of construction—its precision, its history, and its structural integrity. These influences continue to guide my approach to form, surface, and material.
My career includes a range of notable commissions. For the 2012 London Olympics, my sculpture Bryndis was presented to a US swimmer to commemorate his achievement as the most decorated Olympian of all time. More recently, I was commissioned to create two sculptures for the Arctic cruise ship Norwegian Bliss.
Working from my garden studio in the Chiltern Hills, I continue to explore the industrial process, minimal form, and the quiet presence of sculptural objects within space.
