Amylee Paris

My art is based in a vibrant and colourful figurative approach, in which material, pattern and emotion are central to the practice. It draws on both classical and contemporary references, with a particular focus on floral motifs.
My painting is distinguished by an in-depth exploration of texture and colour, through confident brushstrokes, raised motifs, the application of pure acrylic colour, golden details, and the occasional integration of iridescent or metallic paper collages.
References to Japanese philosophy also enrich this approach. Through my works, I create a strong emotional presence, offering the viewer an immediate and sensitive experience, sometimes imbued with a meditative or even spiritual dimension.

Between 11 and 18, I attended private painting and drawing studios in Nîmes and Antibes.
