Paola Bazz

Paola Bazz is an Anglo-Italian artist whose work explores the layered and evolving nature of identity and memory. Drawing from her background in architecture, she transforms recycled printed matter—magazines, catalogues, and books—into tactile compositions that bridge material and emotion.

Through folding, cutting, and repetition, Paola builds intricate paper structures where fragments of the everyday are reimagined into new forms of balance and meaning. Her process echoes the quiet rhythm of rebuilding—turning what is overlooked into something renewed and alive.

Her works offer a meditative reflection on transformation, inviting viewers to slow down and perceive the beauty hidden within what has been discarded. Paola’s art celebrates the act of reconstruction, revealing how fragility can become form and structure can hold emotion.
