"Lamplight kitchen" Fine Art Print

I was born and raised in New York, where I attended the High School of Music and Art. During college, I moved to Israel, where I raised my four children and pursued a number of careers. Today I live in Jerusalem, I'm a furniture designer and a translator. I've been painting throughout my life, and three years ago I began the process of developing new perspectives in painting, while remaining true to figurative art, and bringing my artwork to the public. Today I work almost exclusively in oils, and my art ranges from Realism to Impressionism, inspired by Monet, Hopper, and O'Keefe, among others. I'm all about light and color. Specific nuances of light evoke moods and emotions from deep within our memories and experiences. The different qualities of sunlight, candlelight, and lamplight, to name a few, directly touch the heart and the soul. One of my main goals in painting is to show people the beauty that they pass by every single day, and may even look at, but never really see. It is my hope that having seen my artwork, they will see the world with new eyes, drinking in the light and the colors with new-found passion.
