Momo Is Lost II was inspired by toys, stuffed animals, lovies, and lost innocence. Momo is my oldest child's loved stuffed animal. My oldest is now in his Adolescence. Momo is now just a memory of his childhood and memories of innocence. Momo is somewhere in my son's closet along with other memories of more innocent and uncomplicated times. I miss Momo and those times. I wanted to capture a more whimsical and playful time by making a fun portrait of his favorite stuffed animal. I am a multi-media artist from Oro Valley, Arizona. I graduated from Texas Woman's University in spring of 1992 with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts. I also have a Master’s in Bilingual Education from Southern Methodist University. My art work is an ongoing exploration of life and the world which surrounds me. I have always been fascinated with finding new ways of depicting emotions and moods through my use of line, movement, and texture.
