Arwa Palitanawala

A visionary self taught artist, Arwa Fine Arts was born out of passion and interest to create ornate patterns and mandalas primarily inspired from Islamic and persian architecture, later gradually grew to painting various styles of art.

The principal theme of my artworks are inspired from monumental interiors, symmetry, sacred geometry and ornamental patterns of persian and mughal architecture.

All the artworks are handpainted on cotton paper and cotton canvas with the base medium of fineliners and acrylic colours.

Most recently, my artworks are inspired by calligraphy and intricate mandalas.
