Life is just a little more beautiful when you have flowers - I say it because it’s true! They make a lot of us happy! ? Inspired by the purple Aster Matsumoto flower you often find in floral bouquets. Cute little geometric looking flowers. One of these days I hope to actually make that ceramic vase....

Erika's Lozano currently resides in Northern Virginia. She is a former graphic designer & logo designer but has turned back to her love for fine arts. Erika has exhibited her acrylic and oil paintings in galleries in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC. and ships her work in the U.S.A. and internationally. Erika is a versatile artist that is inspired by her love for color, bold lines, the shape of flowers, and music. Erika’s paintings are done with quality products and attention to detail. In my paintings, I want to bring joy to my viewers. Whether it’s a flower or a musical piece, my goal is to add a joyous presence with my art. As a versatile artist I find so much freedom of expression by working a realistic piece and abstracted piece at the same time. It gives me a great sense of fulfillment to do both. One of my style grew from my background in logo design and working with clean lines which has inspire me heavily but you can’t create texture and colors on a computer the way you can on canvas. I strive to make that experience unique in my works. As for my realistic floral paintings, I love to recreate what God has already perfectly designed. My florals may look very realistic but I add as much artistic brush strokes a possible to retain the beauty of the art. Follow my Instagram page to view my latest works in progress.
