Syd Lawrence

I like to create poignant, vibrant artwork inspired by nature and wildlife, and the every day. I aim for my work to appeal to all ages and make the viewer think deeply about the world around them while also making them smile.

My physical installation "Standing Novation" was selected to be showcased as part of the "Hack the Space" exhibit in the Tate Modern in London, alongside some of Ai Weiwei's work. Previously as a founding member of a collective, known as We Make Awesome Sh, I created work for brands including Greenpeace, Google, Facebook and many others while also being commissioned by the Rolling Stones, Kylie Minogue and others. Our AwesomeWall piece was showcased in the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

I have lived my life in many chapters, with my work spanning a range of different media and I hope you enjoy my work.
