Vanilla Beer

My concerns are, broadly speaking, ecological - the looming extinction of humanity and its possible replacement, a new type of being. I still have a fondness for tales from the past, our cultures' myths and historical stories, in case they hold something that can give hope, perhaps indicate a direction of salvation.

By accident - and good luck - I did my post foundation training at Walthamstow, subsequently closed down by the authorities for having inadequate student supervision. Since then, I've exhibited, as they say, widely... my CV once described as an historical document ( by a guy in a print shop in Toronto -) Im in my 70's now and sold my first painting when I was 12 (exhibited in a friends cafe) Making art is what my life has been about - with outbursts of hedonism.

Convents, various... after art school and in my 40's went to Greenwich Uni for a Ba in Theological Studies. After that, appetite whetted, to Exeter for an MA in Western Esotericism under Nicholas Goodrich-Clarke - disseration on the work of artist David Jones, my hero.
