‘ Three dimensions ‘ No.1 Drawing

What can i say about myself as an artist? Like everyone, in my childhood i also loved to create drawings and paintings everywhere, it had really no matter where. When i was seven, my dear mother took me to the art school. After spending ten bright years with amazing teachers and staff i finished that school and entered the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, faculty of fine arts, exactly graphics. I was interested to learn about printmaking techniques, gravures. After second year passed i was searching and found an old house which i thought was perfect for my first studio, moved there and started to create my own story. The reason why i create is egotistical maybe, but it is as it is. I mean, when your inner self calls you to do it you can’t and won’t ignore or even escape from it. My subject is motion, relationship with the nature of time, exact life recalling, the past perceiving, the death and loss nature observation. The way of observing life, to help going through, to calm the ones soul, to bring the sense of not loneliness on this way connection. I’m thinking about how to make unseen feelings visible and when people will look at my pieces, i don’t want them to understand everything clearly, i don’t want to give them a chewed bite for to simply swallow. The thing that is very important for me is to leave a space for thinking because without that, it is impossible for innovation to be born i think. ‘If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, infinite.’ - William Blake.
