Born in Alexandria Egypt, came with parents to UK in the 1970s. Went to school and University in London. Lived mostly between London and France.
Academic turned painter. Most of my paintings attempt to portray inspirations from my various readings, thoughts, encounters with music, poetry, literature that play a timeless and actual role in our world.
I have paintings in private collections Egypt, France, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UK and in public collections including White &Case International Law Firm, London, Egyptian Embassy, Vienna Austria, Egyptian Cultural Office Vienna Austria.

BSc Physics and Post-grad Mathematical Physics Diploma Kings College 1989.
Diploma in Post-War and Contemporary Art, Sotheby’s 1998.
MA French Modern Studies, Birkbeck College London, 2000. Dissertation entitled “Staging of the Feminine in Balthus and Pierre Klossowski”, 2000.
( Interdisciplinary) PhD French UCL, 2006. Dissertation titke: “ Hans Bellmer and the Experience of Violence”, 2006.
After free lancing for some time attended on and off part-time art classes at Royal Drawing School. Slade Summer School, Heatherleys and in Lyon, France.
