I am also energized by nature and its interactions with the human form. By deliberate removal of the subjective feeling that I am drawing a person, and tuning out the noise of my own thoughts, I strive to enter a state of mindfulness, in order to draw what I perceive. I try to not be influenced by irrelevant thoughts and desires.

I am a voracious visitor of Museums & Galleries as well as an Art History fan. I have a particular interests in portraiture throughout the ages.

I like drawing. I particularly like drawing people. Most of my drawings are done in a studio setting with a live model, without using photographs.

Inspired by the work of the great masters of the renaissance as well as more contemporary artists. Those artists that are aroused by the shared sense of wonder, the act of creating art as a result of pure observation.
