I can't think of anything I would rather do for the rest of my life then being an artist. The joy I feel while drawing or painting is totally unexplainable. Getting lost in time and being in a place of total creativity...I can't ask for anything better then that. At a very young age, I knew that I wanted to become an artist; it was already in me; I just didn’t know it then. I began copying "loony tune" characters from empty jelly jars as well as the occasional paint by number set. A few years later, I discovered a PBS television show called “Paint Along With Nancy Kominski”. While watching her paint, I instantly knew that that was something I wanted to do. After my mother purchased my first easel and oil paints, I began teaching myself how to paint. I attended Pratt Institute in New York shortly after graduating high school. There, I studied painting and drawing. I also attended a few classes at the famous Art Students League. I'm currently working in my home studio in New Jersey.
