Born in Colorado, L. Donelson has been studying and creating art most of her life. Her work has been honored with many awards including the Fayetteville Museum's People's Choice Award and the Foothill's Art Center Award for the North American Sculpture Exhibit. She is also a recipient of the Phillip Halley Johnson Art Scholarship. Her work continues to command attention as she concentrates on larger sculptures using recycled materials and small, intimate paintings that focus on scenes of her daily life.
