Mick Paulusma

Mick Paulusma creates large-scale prints and projections from digital sculptures, capturing the materiality of gestures like hugging, wild swimming, and other human interactions. By using advanced technologies such as computer vision AI and architectural software, he explores the interplay between the digital and physical worlds, where modern social interactions simultaneously exist. His work blurs the lines between these realities, transforming intangible moments into tangible art that occupies both 2D physical space and a co-existing 3D digital realm.

Based in the UK and originally from Canada, Mick’s art is driven by themes of familiarity, connectedness, and belonging.
