Born in Óbidos, in 1953. He attended the Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro Technical School until the 9th grade. He studied Radiotechnics at the Escola Militar Eletromecânica until 1985. He had a military career, having joined the Plastic Arts Course at the Superior School of Arts and Design in 2017. He attended the National Society of Fine Arts (Artistic Training Course) between 2004 and 2011.
His path is characterized by a long incursion into landscape painting, a relationship that has marked the significant set of sculptural works he is currently developing. These works, which include in-depth work in terms of drawing in charcoal and watercolor, are characterized by the use of hot molded and polychrome PVC, with plant motifs or abstract compositions. He is mainly interested in the dynamics created between the object and the landscape that contextualizes it, which is the main driving force of plastic creation.
