Christopher Panzner

Born 1959, raised in a small clamming town, East Islip, on the south coast of Long Island (New York.) Currently live in Paris. I studied painting and film before the word "multimedia" was invented. I was 18 in 1977, hanging out on the Lower East Side... you do the math. My passion is illustrated/illuminated poetry, literature, film, etc. Why? Because in spite of the fact that it's a worthless preoccupation, it's what feeds my soul, what I need to do.

Won a scholarship to NYU, studied in NY, Paris and Venice. Traveled in Asia. Spent a lot of years in television and film, essentially in animation. Have always drawn and painted.
