Olivia Collins is a Melbourne based artist working from her Bayside home studio where she paints her glamorous abstract resin designs. With a background in corporate marketing & support and commercial art gallery management, Olivia returned to her creative roots after the birth of her first daughter in 2012, realising that life was too short not to pursue her passions. Inspired by the interior design world's growing fascination with resin, Olivia partook in a series of resin painting workshops, and has not looked back. Captivated by the experimental nature of the medium and enamoured with the high gloss finish that results, Olivia began selling her resin designs at local arts & craft markets, and thus ‘Olivia Collins Art and Design’ was born. From those humble beginnings, Olivia has gone on to paint a number of popular works, secured both private and commercial commissions and established global print-licensing arrangements for her designs. Olivia’s original artworks are available for purchase on her website, commissioned by arrangement and prints are available through selected stores. Olivia is currently accepting commissions for residential and commercial spaces, and is available to consult on styling decisions including sourcing furniture and artwork (Olivia herself collects art by a number of emerging and established Australian artists).
