Angelo Asaro is an Italian artist based in London, whose journey uniquely combines an engineering education with a passion for art. This fusion allows him to apply his analytical mindset to meticulous detail, achieving a harmonious balance of precision and imagination. His artstic style blends surrealism and symbolism, anchored by a strong conceptual foundation. Influenced by literature, philosophy, and various artistic movements, his work explores profound psychological and philosophical themes. Angelo’s works have been exhibited in galleries, international exhibitions, and prestigious art fairs. His creations have been featured in leading publications such as British Vogue and Vanity Fair, as well as in influential art blogs and online magazines dedicated to art and culture. In 2025, he won the First Prize in the Giotto International Visual Arts Award for the painting 'Silent War', a recognition that honours artists capable of capturing the spirit of the times through expressive intensity and conceptual depth. Further cementing his recognition in the art world, in 2025 he has been selected to participate in the XV Florence Biennale – International Exhibition of Contemporary Art and Design, one of the most important events dedicated to contemporary art and design on an international level, as well as the London Art Biennale 2025, a prestigious curated international exhibition of contemporary art showcasing outstanding contemporary artists from across the globe. In the same year, he has also been selected for the Biennale Milano – ArtExpo 2025, an international event that brings together artists from Italy and abroad in a vibrant dialogue across diverse contemporary artistic languages, including painting, sculpture, photography and video art.
