Efi Fried

I was born and grew up in Southern Germany nearby Stuttgart.

As a scientist by education nature always played a major role in my life.

The scientist in me is fascinated by the inner beauty of nature, based on complex yet perfectly designed systems down to the smallest details.

My artist sole is craving for the beautiful landscapes nature presents, the interplay of light and shadows, the well designed shapes and colours of plants and flowers.

I always loved painting starting as a child. As an adult I got more serious about it when realising how much more a painting can convey with respect to emotions, atmosphere and meaning compared to photographs.

Though largely self educated over the last years I also added more formal education and apprenticed with renowned artists in watercolor and acrylic paints.
