I started painting after 12 years of professional photography. By profession I am a teacher of fine arts.
I dedicate my paintings and photographs to my hometown of Tutrakan.
Tutrakan is a fascinating recess in Bulgaria, preserving ancient history, customs and traditions. It is a place far away from the noise of a big city, where you can seclude, take a walk in the Danube Park, contemplate the nature around the river, watching the fishermen with their boats, commercial and passenger ships. My inspiration is the magic of sunsets in Tutrakan, which are the most beautiful ones along the Danube river valley in Bulgaria. The sunrise is so impressive also, especially during the months when the sun rises over the Danube waters.
