In my work look at behaviour and identity, particularly what women receive and pass on and what their roles are in this era of many changes. I take great interest in the way in which women connect to others and the layers these connections are made of. Traditions, (unwritten) laws, feelings and thoughts may influence these connections. I focus on intimacy and vulnerability, but on strength as well.
New work starts with an idea, whereupon I search intuitively for a material that will suit my story best. My work is in both 2D and 3D.

My collageworks on canvas are made on a basis of old painter's linen on which I make my collages using paper, cloth, embroidery-thread and other materials, anything from semi-precious stones or a piece of copper to a tranquillizer pill.
