I am an artist creating under the brand POCHINK. My work consists of what I call 'Visual Meditations', intricate, rhythmic explorations of color and shape that serve as a bridge between my inner world and the viewer.
As an autistic artist (TEA), I find in abstraction a vital language. Where words can be limiting, the stroke of a pen or brush allows me to process sensory experiences and emotions with absolute freedom. My creative process is an intuitive flow, influenced by the intellectual pulse of my wine yards in Catalonia and the powerful sensorial experience in Cambridge and the historic soul of New England. Each piece is an invitation to pause, explore the small details, and find a moment of quiet reflection.
This way of drawing has been with me for as long as I can remember; it is an innate language that flows through me without the need for formal schools. My art is a direct channel from my interior to the paper.
If you ask me about my inspirations, I might mention Joan Miró. As a child in Barcelona, I was deeply impacted by his sculpture 'Dona i Ocell' in the city’s parks. However, when my pencil touches the surface, I don’t think of any artist or style. I simply allow a visual meditation to unfold.
As an autistic artist (TEA), my creative process is a spontaneous flow, a way to translate and channel my inner world without filters. Under the brand POCHINK, I share these intuitive journeys of color and shape, offering the viewer a bridge to a state of focus and silent reflection.
