Fernando Bosch

I was born in Las Palmas. My house was next to the boiler Bandama volcano.
I liked to wallow in the coal, feeling direct contact with volcanic rocks, experiencing its texture, its uneven, discontinuous forms, feeling his telluric energy ... magnetised by its strengh and safety ... I felt alive, vital.
I remember the hot, dense and moving colors as if they were characters, those friends and enemies of my childhood.
Now I understand my need, with the perspective of years, enables me to understand the search for my identity through creation.
Those forms that I experienced, those textures, these colors that held me, today arise in my paintings. The creation appears as tension, as uncontrollable urge and through that pictorial expression of the picture, I return to where I belong, I recognize the place where I feel safe.
In my early years I studied art and I discovered a great passion for photography. I developed both art and photography at the same time.
I use to paint tilting the body over the canvas without brushes or any tool. All my paintings are made on the ground.. My paintings may seem land- seen from the sky, seas crackled lava, craters.
For me the essence lies in the idea of action, movement, colorful and overflowin...
