Jacqui Doran a visual artist living & working in Byron Bay. Having more than 20 solo shows under her belt after completing an honours degree in Fine Art at Sunderland University. Her work is inspired by laughter, sadness, life styles and intrigue in the contemporary world. Jacqui is profoundly known for her dog and animal images, stencils and figurative work as well as her strong sense of design & colour. Her contemporary paintings explore issues of freedom, fearlessness and our connection to the animal world resonating between beauty and frailty and driven by the realms of popular & youth culture.
