Oil painting on canvas represents the most satisfactory technique for me, as it is the “artistic language” that best expresses what I want to communicate. While searching for different techniques, this was the one that I found the most fascinating. It offers me the possibility of shaping the most expressive correlation between space, color, light and shadow. Different instruments, such as the palette knife or the brushes, also have their contribution to the painting. For example, the palette knife gives me the possibility to create an ample relation between chromatic contrasts, as well as between light, color and shadow. I also use other techniques, such as dry brushing or watercolor painting. Every technique is perfect as long as the act of painting is done with pleasure and dedication.
