Svetlana Ivanova

I was born in Magadan (Russia) in 1965, received a higher education (biochemist) in Dnepropetrovsk (Ukraine). Defended the degree of Candidate of Sciences. At the age of 40, I began to re-evaluate the value in my life, I started to draw (self-taught), because there was a need to express my feelings and thoughts. In the beginning, it was fine art, but then, as my personal spiritual growth and paintings became about the philosophy of life, about the spiritual life of modern man. I write in the style of symbolism.
I work with oil, tempera, and watercolors. I try new techniques to better express my ideas, from the techniques of the old Italian masters to abstraction.
