I am Victoria, an icon painter from Ukraine. I have loved drawing since childhood, and today, I cannot imagine my life without art and painting. However, I pursued it professionally much later, after obtaining a different degree. In 2012, I entered an iconography school, where I studied classical Christian art in Byzantine, Old Russian, and other historical styles. I also gained experience through the practice of copying ancient icons. Over time, I have developed my own artistic style. I approach each icon with creativity, carefully considering composition and color harmony. I also use time-tested materials: wood panels with traditional gesso as a base and egg tempera as my painting medium.
