Mariella Roos

Mariella Roos is an Austrian-born photographer who completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree for Photography with Honors at the School of Visual Arts in New York City in May 2010. Her current work is building dreamlike landscapes from multiple images, which she aquired through traveling. The idea of building new, unexpected from well-known surroundings speaks to the use virtual reality these days as well as a tribute to Pop-Art.

This March she is exhibiting at the Hospiz in St.Christoph during her Artist Residency there. Her work has been shown in group exhibits in New York and Vienna and some of her images are diplayed at the PEZ Visitor's Center in Orange CT. She was also nominated fort he Alumni Society Merit Award at SVA and her images have been auctioned off for the good cause of Fight Aids Monaco.

Right now she is oscilliating between Vienna and London.
