I am Kazi Hasibul Ahshan, a Bangladeshi visual artist with more than four decades of dedicated artistic practice. My work is rooted in the exploration of human emotion, social consciousness, and the unseen rhythms of life. Through expressive abstraction, layered textures, and a sensitive balance of light and shadow, I seek to create visual narratives that invite reflection and emotional connection.
Over the course of my career, my artworks have been exhibited nationally and internationally, including exhibitions in Germany, France, and Nepal. I was honored to receive the Commonwealth Foundation Fellowship Award for Arts and Culture (1991–92, Asia Region), a recognition that continues to inspire my artistic journey.
Working primarily in oil, watercolor, and mixed media, I believe art is a bridge between personal experience and universal truth. Each painting is an attempt to capture movement, memory, silence, and resilience—offering viewers a space pause, feel, and interpret freely.
Self-directed professional artistic development through extensive studio practice, continuous creative research, national and international exhibition participation, and over four decades of dedicated exploration in painting, drawing, composition, and visual expression.
