My paintings are often inspired by nature; Mostly intuitive and expressive but involve calculated decision making about tonal quality, form, colour and unique mark making. The forms may be outlined, overlapped or smeared or conjured from the push and pull of materials alone.
Each painting is an abstract self portrait, capturing the feeling I have during the time of creation.
