A CONTRIBUTION TO THE LIVING ENVIRONMENT: Sculpture allows the architect to reconnect with tradition, to conceive of architecture as a whole where the overall design integrates the design of interior and exterior spaces, furniture, and all the details that constitute a living space, extending to the integration of works of art into everyday spaces. This integration facilitates the demystification and popularization of art. While this is certainly known, it is part of my perspective on the architect’s role as a key player in the living environment, a subject that occupies and concerns them on a daily basis. In this context, art is not necessarily a bearer of history or the traceability of events, but contributes to an overarching message within the city and all the living spaces that comprise it. It must help convey a positive dynamic, stimulate the desire and positiv emotions that enable progress and ease tensions. Celebrating joy, beauty, and freedom through art is a public service in that it fosters hope rather than despair.
