Patrik Šíma doesn't make decorative art.
He makes Neo-Expressionist paintings — confrontational, figurative, raw — that hang on your wall and refuse to let you forget they're there. Working in acrylic, oil, spray, and mixed media from his Prague studio, he creates work that sits at the collision of visual aggression and literary precision.
He is also a poet and musician. This is not incidental. Each original painting comes with a handwritten companion poem — the poem that was alive in the same moment as the painting. You are not buying a canvas. You are buying a moment from a complete artistic world.
His niche is confrontational Neo-Expressionism. His subject is the gap between what people show and what they actually are. His city is Prague — Kafka's city — which has always understood that gap better than most.
