Paola Maccioni is a self-taught artist from Sardinia, currently based in Vicenza, Italy. Growing up surrounded by nature, she channels her creativity into minimalist aluminum sculptures that explore form, reflection, and light. With a distinctive approach, she reinterprets the ancient embossing technique using only rounded-tipped burins on thin aluminum sheets, entirely by hand, without hammers or punches, giving new life to a forgotten art. Since 2019, her works have been acquired by private collectors who appreciate both her vision and her choice of sustainable materials. Guided by a deep respect for traditional craftsmanship, Paola looks to the future by transforming the language of metal into a contemporary form of expression.
