Alexander Litvinov
I studed sculpture at Tallinn Art Academy and I graduated from it in 1980. Until 1990 I worked in different styles: realism, constructivism, conceptualism, primarily using wood as my main material. Since 1990 have been engaged in creating mini-plasticity where animals have became favourite subject, and bronze as the primary material.Initially, I used a realistic approach focusing on anatomy, proportion, and movement. Later, my style evolved towards using symbols and archtypes. Animals became one of the ways to look at a human in an unusual side of it. I have participated in many animalistic festivals. Currently, animals remain a favorite subject in my work as a sculptor.
In 1980. I graduated from the Tallinn Art Academy, sculpture
