Galatea Painting

I myself would define the direction of my work as mystical sensual realism. My favorite topic is the undisclosed spaces of the subconscious and subtle planes of the psyche, which ultimately form the real world in which we live and which we feel. Painting for me is a way of thinking, comprehending, traveling to a new world, expanding my own boundaries and a new stimulus for future creativity. At the same time, most of my time is spent working in a duet with the photographer Aleksey Kozlov, with whom we have been forming a photo-tandem Aleksey & Marina since 1998. I am constantly engaged in drawing sketches and creating, designing costumes, hats and accessories for our joint photographic works, since initially I received the education of a fashion designer, further developing my skills in related creative fields.
