Dora Slavova

As a visual artist, I am interested in human relationships in the context of modern reality. In the focus of my creativity are constant images and themes transformed with modern means and materials as everyday objects. We are interested in the metamorphosis of utilitarian objects and their new role and impact on the public.The silk thread with which I process the objects changes their vision and, in the context of the work, their meaning and significance. I work in the field of installations, objects and conventional forms. In my work, I strive for a minimalist statement, with matter playing a major role. White, black and gold are the colors that excite me, I perceive them as bearers of the infinity of the absolute. Paper, silk thread are my favorite materials for me, they have a special vision, meaning and symbolism that I associate with human nature.
