Beth Shapiro

I work primarily on plexiglass creating abstract paintings that explore color, light and form. My initial inspiration was the beauty of color that emanated from the computer monitor. I loved how color was both vivid and ephemeral, and my chief exploration has been how to duplicate that kind of experience of color with paint.
